Ton en Yvonne Nannings - With Heart and Soul in Turf Machinery
45 years of craftmanschip, trust and genuine attention to people
Those who know Ton and Yvonne understand that their story is not just about machines or brands. It is about people, trust, and decades of dedication to a profession they clearly practiced with passion and pride.
For more than 45 years, they have been active in the world of turf machinery. A sector in which developments follow one another rapidly, yet where reliability and craftsmanship always remain the foundation. That is exactly where their strength lay. Never loud, never seeking the spotlight, but always present when it truly mattered.
Ton with his calm experience and sharp insight. Yvonne with her involvement, overview and warm approach. Together, they became a familiar and trusted presence within the industry. To customers, they were not salespeople, but trusted partners and conversation partners.
What truly characterizes them is their genuine interest. In the work, in the machines, but above all in the people who work with them. This showed in the small but meaningful gestures: a card for a birthday, attention during important personal moments, sincere interest beyond business. Those details made all the difference.
Now, a new phase of life is beginning. Step by step, Ton and Yvonne are winding down their working lives. Not because they have to, but because they can. With the prospect of, at the ages of 73 and 74, spending more time on leisure, personal interests and everything that naturally took second place for many years.
The turf machinery world continues to evolve, but some names remain. Ton and Yvonne are among them. Not because of grand words, but because of their reliability, commitment and humanity.
The legendary calendar is back!
supported by eco clipper and spin turf machinery
After 45 years, Ton and Yvonne Nannings are bringing their professional careers to an end. With the closure of Nannings Sales, a true icon in the turf industry was at risk of disappearing: the well-known calendar.
Good news — we are bringing this tradition back to life!
The calendar, which for many years held a familiar place on the walls of our customers, is making a comeback under the Turf-Machinery name.
Join the calendar photo campaign
We invite customers to take a photo of their calendar in January 2026, showing where it hangs (or used to hang) in their building.
The photo can be old or new — as long as it reflects what the calendar means to you.
How does it work?
- Take a photo of the calendar in your premises
- Post the photo on the Facebook page “turf-machinery”
- The campaign runs throughout January 2026
Bonus:
The most original photo submission will receive a gift.
Together, we keep a valued tradition alive while giving it a fresh new chapter.
We look forward to seeing your entries!
